I saw your show tonight at the Fisch Haus in Wichita. I am not an artist, nor do I claim to have an artist's eye. But I have to tell you that I loved your work. The pieces weren't named but there was one piece in particular that literally took my breath away. It was numbered 20, a horizontal piece with orange, red, green borders and a black with pink/purple center. Its not on your site. I hope you know which piece Im talking about. It genuinely put tears in my eyes. I don't know why that piece touched me the way it did, but...well I just can't say enough about it. I hope that piece lands somewhere where many, many people can enjoy it the way I did. Thank you again for that work of art. It made my night. Brenda McEntire

Kevin- Congrats on the show.
Wonderful to see your art work again! Visited every piece - they are fantastic. Checked out Ann's work also. Beautiful!
We miss you both so much! A trip to Wichita is very near. Our son Brian got married last weekend. Last one left is John and he may be crazy enough to drive his crazy old parents around the country!
Wishes for good health and success. Love, Marie & Pat

Kevin -

Judy always keeps me posted and she just sent me the notice of your newest show. I love your mixed media use of aluminum (recycled, I hope:) in the diptych paintings. It's nice to see that your creativity continues to be always present in your life. Oh, and when Brian stops by, tell him Hi :))

Aloha...Teree Hardy Leisher

P.S. Did you find Hawaii inspirational?

Dear Kevin and Ann,
It looks like a road trip to Wichita should be in order. The art that the two of you are producing is amazing. Like a fine wine, the two of you are only getting better. Still remember, fondly, stopping at your home, in Witchta, and marvelling at the size and scale of your pieces. One of these day's I will make another stop, not only for the art, but more importantly, the friendship.
                                        Adios for now,
                                             Brian iffert

1, 2 and 7 strike me as sardonic, an impressive subtle emotion to convey visually. The "Gates of" title and the progression remind me of that old Yes composition "The Gates of Delirium." Of course, all that may change once I see them on a screen bigger than the one on my iPhone.

Kevin--Good to get this. I was going to send you a mail anyway. Just booked a ticket to the village of our people, so will be in the valley of the Mohawk from Sept 25--Oct 6, just in case.
All is well here. Hope the same, Oberdere.

Hello Moon. It's been a few years since we partied in Miami beach.

I see you were busy honing your vision and your skills. Your art goes inward and not outward.

Remember in the Nelson's Chinese wing - the fantastic slices of marble and other stones, where the grain portrayed seasonal landscapes? You remind me of that.

I was really impressed with Ann't work, as well, and happy to see Bill Leech still carrying on.
